About Me

Hello, my name is Denver. I’m 31 years old, and was born and raised in Texas. I earned my B.S. in Physics from U.T. Austin, after which I worked for years as a Software Developer for various companies, including Samsung.

Recently I moved to Washington state because I love the rain, where I’ve been working intensively and remotely for an entrepreneurial Amazon company with 200 SKUs spanning 5 brands. In the last 18 months I’ve learned infinitely more about Amazon than I ever fathomed there was to know, and my rigorously applied knowledge has resulted in an ~122% increase in monthly profit.

Having established a profound knowledge base, and greatly improving things here, I’m now ready to fly the nest and bring my expertise to a new awesome project in need of some comparable conversion optimization.

Below you’ll find a summary of my key skills, as well as a showcase of some of my recent deliverables and workflow.

1) Laminating Pouch Listings

Here I was responsible for the thumbs (the better 3-dimensional box ones), some of the Additional Images, all the Titles, Key Features, child-names, and the parent-childing that got a 4.8 rating on all of these ASINs, and spillover conversions from the top-sellers to the lower sales velocity SKUs.

2) Professional Laminators Listings

I created all of these listings from scratch (with *some* admittedly sub-optimal base images of the product to work off of from the supplier)- these were launched this month and we sold one for the first time a few days ago to a business customer at a 5% discounted Amazon business price (blue badge, $1,234.99 sale).

3) Recent Sales Trend

Here’s a summary of our recent sales trend since, after much training, I was finally given full latitude to manage all pricing, limited time discounts/deals, inventory levels, and unfettered ability to edit listings / parent-childs for conversion optimization- we’ve seen an ~122% increase in profit.

4) January 2026 Ad Campaign Performance

Unfortunately recently I’ve been busy elsewhere in the company updating 89 new listings and preparing product design materials for more China orders, so I haven’t been able to tend to these with the same level of care I normally do, but they’ve still done reasonably well for January- 27.2% ACOS.

5) My Workflow:
“MasterLite” Business Sheet

This is an example of some of my Google Sheets work. This is a “light” version of a more substantial “Master Business Sheet”. This light version uses only two Amazon reports, the FBA Inventory Report, and the AWD Inventory Report, to give a quick-glance summary of Amazon inventory levels, warehouse inventory levels, aged inventory problems (impending surcharges), recent sales (in both units and dollars), and whether or not a given SKU is on discount, at what % off, as well as what % of the last 90 days it’s been on discount (to avoid issues with an ASIN’s Typical price).

The more substantial “Master Business Sheet” is a complete profit model factoring in all sales and all costs associated with each product- China cost, China inbound, FBA placement (via AWD or direct), fulfillment fees, referral fees, ad spend (by SKU), aged inventory surcharges, storage utilization ratio surcharges, low inventory fees, return fees, administrative return fees, storage costs (adjusted by peak vs. non-peak), etc.

6) My Workflow:
Coding / Automation

Here’s an example of some simple JavaScript code underlying the “MasterLite” business sheet that grabs all the ASINs that were on discount on a given day and logs them to a tracker sheet so that the % of time on discount in the last 90 days can be calculated (data updated every day after midnight).

And here’s an example of an orders data pull for orders information in the last 7 days using the Amazon’s Selling Partner API- this can be used to automate reports-generation.
